About us
We are located just as you come into town. You will overlook the town and the harbor! Grand Marais is located on the east end of Pictured rocks National Lakeshore.
For three generations, this motel was lovingly run by the same family, who poured their hearts into every corner-greeting guests like old friends, watching children grow into parents, and building a place where memories were made year after year. It was more than a business. It was their home, and for many travelers, a comforting stop along life’s journey.
In 2025, a new chapter begins.
We, the new owners, feel incredibly honored to carry the torch. With deep respect for the legacy left behind, we’ve stepped into this role not to change the soul of the place, but to preserve it- to nurture it with fresh energy, new ideas, and the same commitment to warmth and hospitality that has always defined it.
We’re here not just to run a motel, but to carry on a story.

Kitchenettes are a 2 night minimum!
Conveniently located 1 block away from downtown Grand Marais. Only 2 blocks to the beach! Ride off from the property on your SxS or snowmobile!
